I'm nineteen years old. I'm not going to fold
From a world that's dark and deaf
We've been kicked and beat. Thrown underneath
No wonder we have nothing left
I'm not saying I'm above it but I covet what's mine
The right to speak out against violence and crime
It's a free world. that's not very free
It's corruption. that's inspired me
We need to stand up and change or at least rearrange
What the media wants us to believe
We're under the public eye till the day we die
They pick what they want us to perceive
Who's got the power or the hour today
To undo what's been undone
By a presidential task force that sat on the golf course
Waiting for the battle to be won
I'm nineteen years old. I'm not going to fold
From a world that's bruised and beat
We've been suppressed and held from the victory bell
But we'll never submit defeat
