Black Hole by Charles Burns: A comic book set in 70's suburbia about a group of high school kids who contract an incurable STD called “the bug” that causes hideous disfigurements on the carrier's body. Teenagers who contract the disease are chased out of town and forced to live in homeless tent communities in the woods.
