Yankee Doodle

Yankee Doodle
the famous American song, famous as Nursery Rhyme . The song was originally sung by British military officers to mock the disheveled, disorganized colonial "Yankees" with whom they served in the French and Indian War. The Lyrics of the song is attributed to Doctor Richard Shuckburgh, a British Army surgeon.

Kids will love this short poem with music and animation.

nursery rhyme Wee Willie Winkie

This one is short poem for kids. My kid particularly loved this poem, more so when shown in animated version as he loves watching cartoon characters, singing with music. In fact all children would love learning nursery rhyme, this way, more than learning from book. However, learning from the books with picture and lyrics is an experience in itself. The video clip also displays the lyrics of the poem. This nursery rhyme is called Wee Willie Winkie author of the poem is William Miller, composed in 1841.
